Every adventure must begin somewhere.
Whether in the heat of a battle or with a mysterious event, an adventure always has a beginning. You can recognize it in the way it feels, starting with some excitement and a hint of wonder, all mixed up with a little apprehension of what is to come. The feeling starts in your chest, and then it takes hold of you so suddenly, you barely know what hit you. As you attempt to contain this new-found sense of adventure, you realize you won't be the same person on the other end of it.
You'll be someone better.
There'll be a lot of unknown twists and turns, both good and bad - but as the feeling spreads to the tips of your fingers and toes, you realize, that's ok, because it's all part of the adventure. And what a remarkable thing it is - to have a great adventure.
